Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Mobily, the Saudi leading telecommunications provider, concluded its fruitful participation as a diamond sponsor in Capacity Europe 2023 conference with sealing a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs), as revealed in a press release.

The company signed an MoU with BICS, the global digital communications and cloud services provider, to enhance international roaming services and provide Mobily's customers with improved mobile access and seamless connectivity when travelling inside or outside the Kingdom.

In addition, the Saudi company concluded an agreement with the global leader in the ICT industry, Bankai, to optimize customer engagement and communication in A2P and messaging services. Through this agreement, Mobily aspires to be the hub for the international A2P services in the region.

Furthermore, Mobily signed another MoU with Zenlayer, the provider of cutting-edge cloud services, to enable and enhance the edge cloud services to accelerate dynamic content and improve user experience for various sectors.

On other side, Mobily won the “Best Middle Eastern Carrier” award during the Global Carrier Awards 2023 ceremony that was held on the sidelines of Capacity Europe 2023.

Mobily’s participation in Capacity Europe 2023 mirrors its efforts to deliver exceptional services, and strengthen its global presence while actively supporting the Saudi Vision 2030.

Thamer Alfadda, Senior Vice President of Wholesale and Carriers at Mobily, stated that Mobily plays a pivotal role in accelerating the national and international infrastructure through entering into strategic partnerships to enable a carrier-neutral ecosystem essential for the sustained growth of the digital hub.

He stated: “Mobily is rapidly expanding its international connectivity and collocation-hosting business, attracting top-tier cloud and content providers, international carriers, and national operators to its neutral data centers.”

Capacity Europe 2023 took place in London from 17 to 19 October, gathering global telecom carriers, ICT infrastructure companies and providers, as well as industry leaders.
