
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Neom, the futuristic megaproject of Saudi Arabia, entered into a strategic partnership with the Japanese cybersecurity software company, Trend Micro, to revolutionize cybersecurity for smart cities, the Japanese company revealed.
Through this partnership, Neom aims to enhance its digital security by integrating cutting-edge technologies safely and enhancing information protection.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Black Hat MEA 23 cybersecurity event that takes place in Riyadh from 14 to 16 November.
In this regard, Mesfer Almesfer, Chief Information Security Officer at Neom, affirmed that artificial intelligence (AI) technologies along with e-learning technologies are the backbone of Neom’s cybersecurity system to establish sustainable cities.
The Black Hat MEA 23 cybersecurity event is organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones (SAFCSP) in collaboration with Tahaluf, gathering startups and global InfoSec influencers from around the globe.
