
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) to enhance economic growth and foster small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the industrial sector, a recent statement revealed.
The agreement was signed in attendance of Rayan AlFayez, Vice Governor for SME Services at Monsha’at, and Naif AlAyed, Vice President of SABIC Local Content and Development Unit, during a ceremony held by SABIC to honor entrepreneurs and investors who graduated from Nusaned initiative launched by SABIC to enhance the local content.
The agreement targets supporting SMEs by launching programs and initiatives that enable entrepreneurs to develop innovative industrial products and providing specialized training programs for SMEs to start and manage e-commerce transactions.
This agreement came as part of Monsha’at’s efforts to cooperate with several entities in different sectors to support entrepreneurs and SMEs, in line with Vision 2030’s goals.
