
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Abdullah Alswaha met with leaders of global tech giants to enhance cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies fields, the ministry announced in a statement.
During his official visit to the US, Alswaha held a meeting with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of META, to explore ways of fostering innovation with AI and emerging technologies and enhancing digital capabilities, while empowering innovators, developers, and entrepreneurs.
The minister also met with Ruth Porat, President and Chief Investment Officer of Google and Alphabet, to unlock opportunities for partnership across different fields, including AI, data analysis, and cloud computing.
Moreover, Alswaha met with Gwynne Shotwell, President and COO of SpaceX, to discuss means of developing the space sector to serve humanity in a better way.
