Riyadh - Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Unifonic, the leading communications platform as a service (CPaaS) provider in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, handles over 11 billion transactions, serving more than 175,000 beneficiaries and 5,000 brands in the Kingdom and the world, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) Ibrahim Almohaimede told Sharikat Mubasher.
In an interview held on the sidelines of Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024, Almohaimede said that Unifonic has a significant presence in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Turkey, and the US, and aspires to expand its footprint in neighboring markets.

Founded in 2006, Unifonic is one of the promising companies in Saudi Arabia that offers AI-powered communication solutions and programs, covering various fields, notably customer services and marketing.
Almohaimede stated that the company’s offerings cover different sectors, notably banking, retail, food and beverages (F&B), and electronic services.
He noted that Unifonic’s customer base includes large Saudi entities such as Bank Albilad, Al Rajhi Bank, Arab National Bank (ANB), Alinma Bank, Absher platform, Panda, and more.
The role of AI in bolstering customer services sector
The CSO affirmed that the customer services sector is one of the crucial sectors that needs more to thrive, noting that it represents a fertile ground for service providers to offer innovative products that cater to customers’ needs and meet their expectations.
Almohaimede said that AI plays a crucial role in supporting service providers as it enables them to understand and expect customers' different preferences to offer tailored services that suit their interests.
Further, the official clarified that providers can harness AI to develop exceptional services and create unique marketing strategies.
Latest innovations
Almohaimede unveiled that Unifonic launched its cutting-edge AI-backed customer data platform (CDP) during Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024. This new offering will enable the company to reach and provide its products to more customers and business owners.
He pointed out that launching the new CDP came as part of Unifonic’s broader plan to invest in AI-powered solutions that add value to owners and service providers.
Acquisition of Sestek
Sharing his thoughts about Unifonic’s recent acquisition of Sestek, Almohaimede affirmed it paves the way for the company to enter into new markets in the US. “Through this acquisition, Unifonic now has more than 200 already built models that can add value to banking and retail sectors,” he said.
Moreover, Almohaimede emphasized the importance of Seamless Saudi Arabia 2024 in boosting the growth of retail, tech, and fintech sectors in Saudi Arabia.
He noted that this premier event represents a good chance to showcase the latest innovations and meet with industry leaders and decision-makers to share knowledge.
