Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha’at) announced launching the annual "Ebtker" Award in its 6th edition which aims to spread the culture of innovation among SMEs in the Kingdom.
The event will be held in Riyadh and will offer a 5-day training camp for business owners and entrepreneurs, featuring multiple workshops and training programs with experts in various fields. Moreover, SME owners will have their businesses promoted so that they can reach a bigger segment of investors, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Among all registered SMEs, only 30 will be qualified and shortlisted to reach the finals of this award, which only goes to 6 winners. The winning enterprises not only qualify for the global competition of the World Cup of Entrepreneurship but also receive financial prizes of up to 300,000 Saudi riyals. Their achievements are recognized and celebrated at both local and global levels.
In its last edition, “Ebtker” Award organized 15 workshops in a variety of business areas, over 40 mentoring sessions for each company, and 3 accompanying events for participants to communicate effectively together.
