Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: During the 3rd day of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Al-Sawaha, met with a number of CEOs and global business leaders to discuss opportunities for potential digital investments and partnerships.
On its official account on X.com, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology revealed that Al-Sawaha met with Alexander Wang, CEO and Founder of ScaleAI to explore ways of enhancing AI and data solutions cooperation and advance the Kingdom's tech capabilities to achieve its digital economy aspirations.
He also met with Arvind Krishna, CEO of IBM, to discuss the company's significant investments in the Kingdom and how to expand cooperation in AI, big data, and national capabilities in modern technologies.
The series of meetings also included Kenichiro Yoshida, CEO of Sony where they discussed enhancing partnerships in technology and innovation, and Matt Garman, AWS Cloud CEO, to discuss strengthening the cloud computing and AI partnership and increasing AWS's hyperscal cloud investments in the region.
These meetings are part of Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to develop strategic ties and exchange expertise aimed at supporting the digital economy and advancing electronic gaming capabilities in the Kingdom.
