
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: DataVolt, a developer, investor, and operator of sustainable digital infrastructure signed a land lease agreement with The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) to build a state-of-the-art, AI-ready data center in Riyadh’s First Technology Park.
According to a recent press release, the 55,000 sq m facility will incorporate advanced cooling systems and optimized energy solutions, prioritizing sustainability and efficiency.
Designed to support advanced AI processing, the center will serve the growing demand from hyperscalers, cloud providers, and enterprises in Saudi Arabia. Rajit Nanda, DataVolt CEO highlighted the project’s significance in strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global AI leader while offering sustainable data center solutions.
The development is part of DataVolt’s $5 billion investment in Saudi Arabia, aimed at expanding the country’s digital infrastructure. Nanda emphasized that the initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, supporting economic diversification and sustainability. With extensive experience in renewable energy and digital infrastructure, DataVolt seeks to drive AI innovation while minimizing environmental impact, ensuring a greener and more efficient digital economy.
