
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi National Talent Development Program (NTDP) plays a vital role in nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem by fostering innovation, leadership, and business acumen among young talents. It aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge needed to develop sustainable ventures through specialized training, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.
The program has contributed to establishing seven unicorns and around 800 companies, in addition to attracting more than 150 international companies, CEO Ibrahim Neyaz stated in an interview with Alarabiya.
These companies have collectively closed funding rounds worth SAR 400 million and have created over 2,000 jobs in the past three years.
He stated that the NTDP has created around 17,000 new jobs in the Kingdom over the past years.
Neyaz further stated that the NTDP has created around 17,000 new jobs across the Kingdom in recent years. Additionally, the program has attracted more than 10 global business accelerators, backed by investment funds valued at SAR 1 billion, and has supported over 15 Saudi companies in expanding into global markets.
Moreover, the NTDP has contributed SAR 11.2 billion to the national gross domestic product (GDP) since its launch.
The NTDP targets developing the technology ecosystem in the Kingdom and increasing its effectiveness by driving sustainable growth using different interventions and support mechanisms.
