Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: The UAE’s innovation scene is set to receive a fresh boost as SC Ventures, the investment and innovation arm of Standard Chartered, partners with DIFC Innovation Hub to roll out the National Venture Studio, a new platform designed to fast-track venture creation in the region.
The collaboration will see SC Ventures bring its global “Venture Building as a Service” (VBaaS) model to DIFC, offering a full-stack approach to startup development from spotting market gaps to prototyping and scaling.
Targeting founders, corporates, and government bodies alike, the National Venture Studio aims to turn bold tech ideas into high-impact ventures. Joint outreach efforts, co-hosted events, and capability-building programs are also on the agenda.
Mohammad Alblooshi, CEO of DIFC Innovation Hub, added: “This marks a major milestone in empowering local entrepreneurs with the right tools and support to build what’s next.”
As the UAE doubles down on its digital ambitions, the initiative underscores a growing focus on ecosystem collaboration and economic diversification through innovation.
