Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Spekter Games Inc., a San Francisco‑based publisher focused on high‑quality rogue‑lite mobile games, closed a US $5 million pre‑seed round and simultaneously launched its first title, “Spekter Agency,” on Telegram.
According to a recent press release, the round attracted Saudi-based Impact46 in addition to other invistors including London Venture Partners, BRV Capital, Chamaeleon, Accelerator Ventures, Versus Ventures, and Alumni Ventures.
Taehoon Kim, founder and chief executive, said the studio aims to build games that remain fun first, noting that passive blockchain incentives can boost retention and virality without disrupting gameplay. Investors added that deeper mechanics could upgrade the early “tap‑to‑earn” models now popular on Telegram.
Running on Telegram’s Mini Apps infrastructure, “Spekter Agency” offers arcade‑style survival combat inspired by “Vampire Survivors.” The integration taps Telegram’s wallet to simplify crypto transactions, reducing the barriers typically linked to Web3 gaming for the platform’s reported one billion monthly users.
