
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Esports Federation successfully concluded the second edition of the GCC Esports League, held at the SEF Arena in Riyadh and presented by luxury automotive brand Genesis.
According to a recent press release, the event brought together top clubs and players from six Gulf nations in a growing testament to the region’s rise in global competitive gaming.
The league also marked a key step in regional cooperation. The Saudi Esports Federation signed five Memoranda of Understanding with esports bodies from Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE, aiming to drive talent development, cross-border tournaments, and education programs.
With a prize pool of SAR 100,000 split between EA Sports FC 25 and Street Fighter 6, Saudi’s FalconMsdossary7 claimed a dominant 12-3 victory in the EA Sports FC 25 final, while Latif from Twisted Minds marked a triumphant comeback after seven years by winning the Street Fighter 6 crown.
The GCC Esports League continues to establish itself as a cornerstone of the regional esports calendar, positioning Saudi Arabia as a leading force in the gaming world.
