
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Investment announced its participation in the ‘Aseer Innovates’ technology hackathon, which brings together entrepreneurs and innovators to develop tech solutions for challenges in the Aseer region.
Multidisciplinary teams from across the Kingdom will compete to create technology-driven projects that address key challenges in investment, transport, tourism, and other sectors, supporting sustainable development, to shape a better future for the region.
The hackathon will unfold in two phases: a virtual round from 31 July to 2 August, 2025, followed by an in-person round from 14 to 16 August, 2025, at King Khalid University. The event will culminate with an awards ceremony honoring the top teams, with prizes totaling SAR 450,000.
The outcomes are expected to deliver tangible benefits for Aseer’s sustainable development efforts and strengthen its position as a national and regional hub for innovation.
