Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Seoul-based defense manufacturer LIG Nex1 expanded and relocated its office in Riyadh as part of a broader push to grow its footprint in the Middle East.

The opening ceremony was attended by Shin Ick-hyun, the company’s CEO, alongside Saudi officials and representatives from local defense firms, as reported by Yonhap News Agency. The new office will serve as a regional hub to support communications, operations, and research and development, the company said.

LIG Nex1, known for its precision-guided missiles and advanced weapons systems such as the long-range surface-to-air missile (L-SAM), is seeking to capitalize on rising regional demand amid ongoing geopolitical tensions. The company said the expansion will also strengthen after-sales support and deepen collaboration with Saudi and regional partners.
