Cairo - Sharikat Mubasher: PayTabs Egypt, an award-winning provider of payment orchestration infrastructure and digital payments, forged a strategic partnership with Valu, the largest provider of BNPL solutions in Egypt, to launch the Valu Merchant Application to advance in-store payments across the country.

The new application offers a smart and contactless payment solution that will support millions of retailers in Egypt, according to a recent statement by PayTabs Egypt.

Through the new application, Valu’s network of merchants can now accept payments straight from their smartphones, without traditional POS hardware, ensuring a fast, simple, and modern payment experience.

Haytham Morsy, Vice President of Commercial and Business Development at PayTabs Egypt, commented: “This partnership is a meaningful step toward financial inclusion. Together with Valu, we are putting powerful payment orchestration and mobile commerce tools in the hands of local merchants, many of whom have never had access to this kind of technology before.”

In turn, Omar Magdy, Head of E-commerce and Payments at Valu, stated that the launch of the Valu merchant application will transform the way merchants and customers interact. “By leveraging PayTabs’ cutting-edge QR-powered technology, we are eliminating barriers to entry, reducing costs, and accelerating the adoption of digital payments across Egypt,” he said.

By integrating PayTabs’ QR-powered technology into its merchant app, Valu enables merchants to generate dynamic QR codes through the PayTabs Merchant App, allowing customers to scan and pay in seconds. This solution supports instant payment confirmations, real-time reporting, rapid onboarding, and a fully contactless experience perfectly aligned with Egypt’s digital transformation.
