Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Red Sea Global (RSG) announced the opening of AMAALA Triple Bay, its latest ultra-luxury coastal destination on Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast, during the inaugural TOURISE Summit.
Set across three natural bays between the Hijaz Mountains and the Red Sea, AMAALA blends wellness, sustainability, and high-end living. John Pagano, Group CEO of RSG, said that the name “AMAALA,” derived from the Arabic word for hope, reflects the destination’s ethos of rejuvenation and connection to nature.
The launch phase includes six world-class resorts: Equinox, Four Seasons, Nammos, Rosewood, and Six Senses, along with AMAALA Yacht Club and Corallium Marine Life Institute. A 5km “Wellness Route” links these experiences amid pristine landscapes.
RSG invested SAR 51.04 billion into Phase One, which will feature nine resorts with over 1,600 keys. Upon completion, AMAALA is expected to create 50,000 jobs and contribute SAR 11 billion to Saudi GDP.
Committed to regenerative tourism, AMAALA aims for a 30% net conservation benefit by 2040 and will operate entirely on renewable energy.
Accessible via Red Sea International Airport, with direct flights from regional hubs, AMAALA reinforces Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal to establish the Kingdom as a global destination for sustainable luxury tourism.
