
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi-Japan Ministerial Investment Forum witnessed the signing of 12 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) spanning various sectors, including space, finance, agriculture, technology, education, water, and manufacturing.
These agreements aim to strengthen investment and trade cooperation between the two countries and facilitate access to investment opportunities, as stated by the Saudi Press Agency.
The MoUs highlight shared opportunities in key areas, including energy, machinery, and equipment, thereby expanding investment partnerships between the two countries.
The Saudi-Japan Ministerial Investment Forum took place in Riyadh with the attendance of Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investment, Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Faisal Sultan, President of the Saudi Esports Federation, and Ryosei Akazawa, Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry.
The forum gathered senior government officials and private-sector representatives, including major Saudi and Japanese companies. It featured discussions about Japan’s new growth strategies, Saudi Vision 2030, and progress on major development projects.
