Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Trinasolar announced it has entered a new collaboration with Saudi-based Haala Energy to accelerate solar deployment in the Kingdom, with the agreement signed during the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2026.

Under the collaboration, Haala Energy will deliver two agricultural solar projects for Bateel date farms with a combined capacity of 1.8 MWp, as per the company’s press release.

The projects will be supported by Trinasolar’s integrated technology portfolio, including high-performance photovoltaic modules, solar tracking systems, and robotic cleaning solutions.

The collaboration also includes a 100 kWp agrivoltaics pilot project focused on research and innovation, aimed at developing practical models for integrating solar power generation with agricultural operations. The initiative is designed to support knowledge transfer and explore new use cases for clean energy technologies in the Kingdom.

Both companies indicated that the collaboration aligns closely with Saudi Vision 2030, particularly the goals of energy diversification, sustainability, and technology-led innovation. The agreement further strengthens Trinasolar’s regional presence across the Middle East and Africa, where it continues to support utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar projects.

For Haala Energy, the projects build on its growing rooftop and hybrid solar portfolio in Saudi Arabia, as the company targets expanded deployment across the Kingdom’s commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
