Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia will take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, from 19 to 23 January, with a high-level delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.
Held under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue,” the 56th edition of the forum comes at a time of growing global fragmentation, rapid technological change, and heightened geopolitical uncertainty. Discussions will focus on emerging opportunities in areas such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and clean energy, alongside pressing global challenges.
During the meeting, the Saudi delegation will engage with leaders from government, business, civil society, and academia, contributing to dialogues aimed at strengthening global stability and economic cooperation. The delegation will also highlight Saudi Arabia’s development journey and share insights from Vision 2030 through bilateral meetings and public sessions.
Saudi House will return to Davos in 2026 following its standalone debut last year. Organized by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, the pavilion will host more than 20 sessions exploring global economic priorities and future-facing themes.
The WEF Annual Meeting is expected to bring together around 3,000 leaders from nearly 130 countries, including about 60 heads of state and government.
