
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: HUMAIN, Saudi Arabia’s artificial intelligence (AI) company, acquired a controlling interest in ai.io, a London-headquartered AI and sports technology company, leveraging ai.io’s existing products, technical expertise, and global sports relationships to accelerate international expansion and develop new use cases.
Following the acquisition, which was announced during the PIF Private Sector Forum 2026, HUMAIN launched HUMAIN Sport to deliver integrated AI platforms designed to support the full sports ecosystem, according to a recent press release.
This investment fuels HUMAIN’s long-term strategy to expand AI applications across various industries. It accelerates the development and deployment of advanced AI-driven sports technology solutions in Saudi Arabia and globally.
ai.io will benefit from HUMAIN’s AI infrastructure, platforms, strategic partnerships, and commercial scale, supporting the delivery of AI-powered sports solutions across multiple geographies and sports disciplines.
