Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Accenture announced it has expanded its presence in Saudi Arabia with the launch of a new Connected Innovation Center at its regional headquarters in the King Abdullah Financial District. As per a recent press release, the center aims to help Saudi organizations scale artificial intelligence and develop future-ready workforces in line with Vision 2030.
Majid Al-Tuwaijjri, Accenture’s Country Managing Director for Saudi Arabia, emphasized that the Riyadh hub reflects the company’s confidence in Saudi Arabia’s global AI leadership. He noted that the center serves as a platform for co-innovation, combining digital capabilities, upskilling, and partnerships to enable Saudi institutions and talent to lead change effectively.
The facility offers a collaborative environment where businesses can move from AI experimentation to full-scale deployment. It supports key sovereign initiatives through partnerships with Microsoft, Google Cloud, and Oracle, enabling secure cloud and AI prototyping. The General Organization for Social Insurance has leveraged the center to accelerate its advanced AI projects from concept to production.
Sultan Al-Obaida, Chief Commercial Officer of KAFD, highlighted that the district provides an ideal location for Accenture’s expansion and that placing innovation at the center strengthens KAFD’s role as a regional hub for leading companies, supporting the Kingdom’s economic transformation.
Accenture’s Saudi workforce has grown by around 60% over the past two years, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a high-tech, future-ready workforce across the Kingdom.
