
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Wadi Jeddah Company, the investment arm of King Abdulaziz University, announced it has partnered with Falak Angels to launch a new university-focused investment program aimed at developing early-stage investment skills among faculty students.
According to the company’s announcement on X.com, the initiative, titled the ‘KAU Angel Investor Program,’ is being introduced in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. The program is designed to equip participants with practical knowledge in evaluating investment opportunities, building investment portfolios, structuring deals, exploring exit strategies, and conducting due diligence.
Targeting faculty members and students of King Abdulaziz University, the program reflects growing efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s startup ecosystem by nurturing a new generation of informed investors within academic institutions.
The event is scheduled to take place on 11 May 2026, at the Wadi Jeddah Innovation Hub, running from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
The launch underscores broader national efforts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship by bridging academia and investment, in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.
