Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: AI-powered mental health platform Arab Therapy closed a $2 million pre-Series A funding round led by Manara Ventures, with participation from Value Makers Studio (VMS) and Anara Impact Fund.
The funding will help Arab Therapy accelerate its expansion across Saudi Arabia and the broader region and scale its integrated AI-powered mental health platform, the company revealed in a press release today.
With the new capital, Arab Therapy will enable more individuals to access personalized mental healthcare and help organizations proactively improve employee wellbeing at scale.
Arab Therapy provides an AI-powered mental health platform featuring a comprehensive mental health content library, a suite of native Arabic AI mental health tools, and online therapy sessions delivered by licensed specialists.
Moataz Abuonoq, Founder and CEO of VMS, said: “Mental health has become one of the most pressing issues of our time, and the company's AI-powered platform designed with deep cultural and linguistic relevance has the potential to transform access to high-quality mental healthcare for everyone. We are proud to support the team on its journey to expand its impact across Saudi Arabia, the wider region, and globally.”
For his part, Tareq Dalbah, CEO and Co-Founder of Arab Therapy, affirmed that the round will allow the company to expand faster into new markets, deeper products, and greater impact on people’s everyday lives. "We founded Arab Therapy because millions of people in our region didn't have access to mental health support in their own language and in a way that fit their culture,” he said.
Arab Therapy operates across Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, and Germany, serving both individuals and organizations through two models: a consumer-facing platform (B2C) and enterprise programs (B2B) designed to improve employee wellbeing and mental health.
