
Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Amazon announced launching its Amazon Youth Council (AYC) in partnership with the UAE’s Federal Youth Authority, creating a platform aimed at developing Emirati talent and giving young professionals a greater role in shaping the company’s youth and community initiatives.
The council, launched on International Youth Day, brings together Emirati employees from Amazon and AWS in the UAE, as per a recent press release. Its agenda includes mentorship, technology training, professional workshops and knowledge-sharing programs designed to strengthen skills and connect young Emiratis with Amazon’s global innovation network.
Beyond professional development, the council will organize volunteering programs and cultural initiatives focused on Emirati identity, values and traditions, both within Amazon and in the wider community.
Commenting on this, Ronaldo Mouchawar, VP Amazon Middle East, Africa and Turkey, said the initiative seeks to create opportunities for Emirati youth to develop through learning, innovation and career growth.
