
Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Center3, a subsidiary of Stc Group and a leading provider of international data centers and communications services, intends to sign an Indicative Financing Terms with the National Infrastructure Fund (Infra) to develop a hyperscale data center in Dammam.
In a statement, Center3 revealed that the new cutting-edge facility will be fully contracted to Microsoft, with arrangements allowing for capacity expansion to accommodate anticipated future growth.
This agreement reflects the ongoing cooperation between Center3 and Infra to accelerate the roll-out of digital infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. It also reinforces the Kingdom’s position as a leading global hub for data, AI, and advancing technologies, in alignment with Vision 2030’s objectives.
Providing international data centers and communications services via submarine cables, Center3 currently operates around 25 data centers and has expanded its submarine cables network to include 16 cables connecting three continents.
