
Muscat - Sharikat Mubasher: SafaQat, an Omani digital procurement and purchasing platform, raised an undisclosed funding round from the Oman Future Fund and the Idrak Group to enhance its AI-powered infrastructure, improve user experience, expand into government procurement, and enter new markets.
In a recent statement, the company announced that the new investment reflects the growing confidence in local technology ventures and their role in building a sustainable digital economy.
SafaQat’s growth strategy focuses on building AI-powered tools for bid analysis and price forecasting, while supporting local SMEs through training, free onboarding, and community-driven campaigns.
Al Moatasem Al Saifi, Co-founder of SafaQat, said: “This investment represents a qualitative leap. It’s not just financial; it’s about believing in the future of Oman’s digital economy and empowering youth.”
SafaQat currently hosts over 2,486 users, 1,260 tenders, and 2,784 registered suppliers, positioning itself as a national leader in digitizing procurement and supply chains.
