Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Velents.ai, a fast-growing Arabic AI startup, announced the launch of Agent.sa, the first fully integrated Arabic-speaking AI employee, following a $1.5 million investment round.
As per an official press release, this round was backed by individual investors holding leadership roles at Google, BCG, and other global firms.
Founded by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Velents operates through a joint Egyptian-Saudi team and develops AI solutions tailored to Arabic-speaking enterprises. The launch of Agent.sa marks a major step in the company’s mission to deliver Arabic-native technology built locally rather than relying on foreign AI models.
Agent.sa functions as a digital employee capable of handling phone calls, WhatsApp conversations, data analysis, order tracking, and operational tasks—all in fluent, localized Arabic. The system integrates with over 20 enterprise platforms, including CRM and payment systems, allowing organizations to deploy and train their own AI employees in minutes.
Built on Velents’ proprietary Arabic-language model, Agent.sa supports dialects across the region and adheres to local data protection laws, storing data within Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The AI employee targets industries such as banking, telecom, logistics, and healthcare, offering round-the-clock, high-volume customer interaction capabilities.
