Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) licensed  Ateon Company for Information Technology and Innovative Communications to provide payment services through a Major Payment Institution across the Kingdom.

The license brings the total number of licensed companies offering payment services in Saudi Arabia to 31, SAMA revealed in a statement yesterday.

This decision reflects SAMA’s commitment to supporting the payments sector, increasing the efficiency of financial transactions, and promoting innovative financial solutions for financial inclusion in Saudi Arabia.

Recently, SAMA licensed two companies to offer payment services through account information access.
