Rack Extreme offers higher load capacity and seamless integration with power and cooling systems

Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Vertiv, a global provider of critical digital infrastructure and data center solutions, announced it has launched the Vertiv Rack Extreme, a new rack platform designed to support the growing infrastructure requirements of high-performance computing and artificial intelligence workloads.

The company said in its press release that this solution addresses the increasing need for data centers to accommodate larger and heavier IT equipment while maintaining efficient airflow, cable management, and deployment flexibility. The rack is available in multiple sizes and configurations, enabling organizations to tailor deployments to specific application needs.

According to Vertiv, the Rack Extreme offers static and dynamic load capacities of up to 2,045 kilograms, allowing operators to support higher-density environments while retaining full mobility. The platform also includes integrated airflow and cable management features, fully welded construction, and accessories designed to simplify installation and ongoing operations.

Giuseppe Leto, Senior Director of IT Systems at Vertiv, said the new platform reflects the company's expanded rack engineering capabilities for AI-driven and high-density deployments, building on expertise developed through its legacy Knürr rack solutions.

The Rack Extreme is designed to integrate with Vertiv's broader portfolio of power, cooling, and infrastructure management products, enabling customers to deploy end-to-end data center solutions as AI adoption continues to accelerate.
