Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia finalized agreements with global logistics companies for the development of 18 logistics zones with investments exceeding SAR 10 billion ($2.6 billion), Saudi Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser revealed.
During his opening remarks at the 6th Supply Chain and Logistics Conference, Al-Jassr highlighted the Kingdom’s pivotal role in enhancing global supply chain efficiency, leveraging its expanding logistics infrastructure and strategic position.
Al-Jasser explained that the Kingdom targets increasing the number of logistics zones from 22 to 59 by 2030, as part of its commitment to developing a comprehensive logistics infrastructure that strengthens the national economy and reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub.
The Supply Chain and Logistics Conference 2024 takes place in Riyadh on 15 and 16 December, with the participation of over 100 exhibitors and more than 10 startups from over 10 countries.
It serves as a dynamic platform that provides access to decision-makers in government agencies and commercial establishments and identifies investment initiatives and opportunities.
