Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: UK-based Territory Studio, known for its cutting-edge visuals and world-building in games and film, announced its expansion into Saudi Arabia following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Savvy Games Group on 8 July, 2025.
As part of the agreement, Territory will incorporate in Saudi Arabia this year and open a new facility in Riyadh in 2026, according to a recent press release. The studio will provide services including co-development, cinematics, trailers, UI/UX design, and in-game branding, supporting developers across the Kingdom and the wider MENA region.
The move aligns with Vision 2030’s goal of positioning Saudi Arabia as a global hub for gaming and digital content. Territory is also committed to hiring locally, mentoring talent, and helping build the region’s creative capacity over the next three years.
This marks Territory’s first Middle East location, adding to its global footprint that includes London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Barcelona.
