Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi ICT infrastructure provider Tawal signed a memorandum of understanding and a series of strategic project agreements with Huawei at the company’s headquarters in China, aiming to accelerate digital transformation in the Kingdom.

The MoU covers cooperation in developing solutions for in-building systems, optical networks, smart campuses and stadiums, microwave technologies, and mmWave-5G, as per a recent press release.

These initiatives are designed to enhance indoor coverage, improve network speeds, and boost reliability for mobile users across Saudi Arabia.

The agreements also include joint projects in digital infrastructure development and the deployment of sustainable energy solutions at sites, alongside advanced in-building services using Huawei’s technologies.

Tawal said the partnership builds on Huawei’s global expertise and deep understanding of the Saudi market, supporting innovative, sustainable, and environmentally friendly solutions aligned with Vision 2030.

Executives from both companies emphasized that the collaboration will position Tawal as a backbone of Saudi Arabia’s digital economy, while reinforcing Huawei’s role as a technology partner for the Kingdom’s transformation journey.
