Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Trina Storage, a global leader in energy storage solutions and a unit of Trinasolar, unveiled its latest 6.25 megawatt-hour (MWh) energy storage platform, Elementa 3, during the Solar & Storage Live KSA event.
As per the company’s press reease, the new system offers higher energy density, improved safety, and greater cost efficiency, supporting Saudi Arabia’s clean-energy goals under Vision 2030.
The Elementa 3 platform marks a major upgrade in performance, featuring 587 Ah cells that increase cabinet capacity to 6.25 MWh, 12.3% higher energy density than its predecessor. Its compact design improves site-level efficiency by nearly 25%, while advanced balancing technology enhances lifecycle and reliability. The system also delivers improved fire resistance and thermal management, ensuring safe operation under demanding grid conditions.
Engineered for the Middle East’s harsh climate, Elementa 3 is designed to withstand temperatures up to 55°C, coastal humidity, and desert dust. Its C5 anti-corrosion coating and IP67-rated modules make it suitable for deployment across Saudi Arabia’s varied environments, including the Red Sea coast.
With cumulative global shipments of 12 GWh by mid-2025, Trina Storage continues to strengthen its regional footprint. The company recently completed a 300 MWh battery energy storage project in Egypt within just 60 days, a new regional benchmark in project delivery efficiency.
