
Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) Development and Management Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samsung Electronics to explore cooperation in developing and implementing integrated smart city technologies within KAFD.
According to a recent press release, the partnership aims to enhance digital experiences for businesses, tenants, and visitors while positioning KAFD as a hub of collaboration and innovation between Saudi Arabia and Asia.
The agreement reflects KAFD’s commitment to investing in advanced digital infrastructure and adopting cutting-edge technologies to set new benchmarks in urban development and quality of life. Samsung’s legacy of innovation supports KAFD’s vision to create efficient, sustainable, and human-centered urban environments in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
The collaboration will focus on deploying integrated solutions such as smart access systems, digital signage, and centralized infrastructure management tools to monitor and manage assets in real time. The partnership also includes the launch of a Samsung Experience Store in KAFD, offering exclusive services and experiences to residents and visitors.
