Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi geospatial technology firm GulfBoost Technology (GBT) has closed a SAR 5 million pre-seed funding round, led by Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Zamil & Sons Investment Company, with participation from angel investors and investment firms.
The round was managed by SHORE Advisory Services, according to a recent press release.
GBT operates through Penta-KSA, which offers no-code software that makes spatial data accessible to non-specialists, and Penta-Labs, its deep-tech arm focused on GeoAI and digital twin solutions for smart cities and large-scale projects.
Yousef AlNafjan, the company’s founder, said the funding will accelerate GBT’s growth and support its mission to turn complex geospatial data into practical tools for national digital transformation. Walid Nassar, Managing Director of SHORE Advisory Services, highlighted the company’s strong business model and its relevance to Saudi Arabia’s growing deep-tech ecosystem.
The investment will be used to strengthen infrastructure, expand the team, and launch a new generation of GeoAI products, as demand for advanced geospatial analytics continues to rise across the Kingdom.
