Riyadh - Sharikat Mubasher: King Salman Park Foundation, one of the world’s largest urban parks, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia Company to advance digital transformation and shape a smarter future for the park.

The MoU, signed during LEAP 2026, aims to advance secure and sustainable digital infrastructure for the park, supporting smart city and AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency, according to the foundation’s official statement.

The agreement covers other areas of cooperation, including establishing a unified, transparent mechanism for evaluating, selecting, and classifying partners; exploring emerging technologies and innovative digital solutions to enhance visitors’ experience; and developing ICT talent through specialized programs.

Expected to be an unparalleled destination for recreation, culture, and community, King Salman Park is designed to create a vibrant green oasis that brings the cultural aspects of Riyadh together, enhances quality of life, and inspires future generations.

LEAP2026 takes place from 31 August to 3 September under the theme “Into New Worlds,” bringing together thousands of companies, startups, investors, and technology experts. It is expected to attract more than 1,000 global speakers and experts, 1,800 technology companies, 600 startups, and 1,900 investors and venture capital representatives.
