Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi enterprise AI startup Gaia announced closing a $1.5 million pre-seed funding round led by SEEDRA Ventures, as it works to expand its AI platform for businesses.
Founded by Badr Al Malluh and Mohammad Rababah, Gaia is developing a platform that allows organizations to search, understand and act on their internal information without moving data outside the company, according to a recent press release.
The platform connects documents, emails, files, business systems and workflows through a single operational intelligence layer. Its Enterprise Search tool provides AI-generated answers based on company data, with links to the original sources.
Gaia also offers an AI Assistant and AI Agents that can perform tasks across different business applications, automate recurring work and manage workflows. The platform is designed to remain permission-aware, while higher-risk actions require human approval.
The new funding will support Gaia’s product development and efforts to work with enterprises on AI applications for operational challenges.
