Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s net foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows fell 19.5% year on year to SAR 19.1 billion in the second quarter of 2026, according to the latest data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

FDI inflows into the Kingdom recorded SAR 22.3 billion in Q2, down 16.9% from SAR 26.8 billion a year earlier and 18% from the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, FDI outflows stood at SAR 3.2 billion, increasing 2.7% year on year from SAR 3.1 billion but declining 28.9% from SAR 4.4 billion in Q1.

The latest figures come as Saudi Arabia continues to attract foreign investment as part of its efforts to diversify the economy under Vision 2030.
