Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources will host the sixth Future Minerals Forum (FMF) in Riyadh from 12 to 14 January, 2027, under the theme “Global Collaboration for Resilient Mineral Supply,” as the Kingdom seeks to strengthen mineral supply chains and accelerate mining investment.
As per the Ministry’s press release, the sixth edition will focus on mobilizing financing, speeding up project development and shortening the time needed to bring mining projects into production, particularly across Saudi Arabia and emerging supplier regions.
FMF 2027 will feature a government-led Ministerial Roundtable bringing together officials, industry leaders, investors, financial institutions and other stakeholders to discuss mineral supply challenges and opportunities.
The forum’s fifth edition in January 2026 attracted more than 21,500 participants from 175 countries and resulted in 132 agreements and MoUs worth more than SAR 100 billion. Across its first five editions, FMF has announced 398 agreements and MoUs valued at over SAR 282 billion.
