Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: du Pay, the digital financial services arm of UAE telecom operator du, announced it has extended its partnership with talabat, the leading regional food delivery platform, to become the digital wallet and payment provider for talabat’s fleet partners in the UAE.
As per a recent press release, the agreement was signed by Roberto Mancone, CEO of du Pay, and Simonida Subotic, Vice President and Managing Director of talabat UAE, at talabat’s office.
Under the new agreement, riders working with talabat’s fleet partners will be able to receive and manage their earnings through a single digital wallet, simplifying payments and providing access to additional financial services.
The du Pay wallet includes an International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and a free digital debit card offering cashback on spending. Riders can also transfer money internationally, pay bills, recharge mobile balances, and access cash loans.
On this occasion, Mancone said the expanded agreement reflects the partnership’s growth and will help simplify how riders receive and manage their money. Subotic added that the collaboration would streamline payment management for fleet partners while improving riders’ access to financial services.
du Pay has more than one million registered customers, while talabat operates across several MENA markets, connecting consumers with restaurants, retailers, and other service providers.
