Dubai - Sharikat Mubasher: Dubai Center for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) announced the launch of GenDubAI, a digital platform designed to help parents better understand how children use AI and support them in using AI tools safely, responsibly, and creatively.
GenDubAI is a first-ever educational platform that aims to nurture creativity, protect privacy, and strengthen family engagement, according to the official statement released yesterday.
Developed in partnership with the Community Development Authority (CDA) and Dubai Future Foundation, the platform supports the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the UAE’s Year of the Family, as it provides an interactive family experience that encourages the constructive use of AI while helping parents remain involved in their children’s learning and development.
GenDubAI is available in Arabic and English and offers practical, easy-to-use, interactive content that guides children to use these technologies effectively and supports the development of critical thinking and creativity. For parents, the platform introduces the fundamentals, principles, and tools of AI, while highlighting both its opportunities and challenges.
Saeed Al Falasi, executive director of DCAI, said: “This first-of-its-kind platform aims to help children benefit from the limitless opportunities of artificial intelligence under the direct guidance of their parents, enabling families to follow their children’s progress with ease.”
He noted that the platform reflects local values and cultural identity while supporting children’s learning, creativity, and intellectual development.
GenDubAI is designed to evolve continuously by adding new content, tools, and educational pathways to keep pace with rapid advances in AI and the changing needs of families. It targets families with children aged 8 to 15 and is accessible through a dedicated mobile-friendly version.
