Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: NMDC Energy, a leading provider of engineering, procurement, and construction services for offshore and onshore energy clients, has officially inaugurated its advanced fabrication yard in Ras Al Khair, Saudi Arabia.
The new facility marks a key milestone in the company’s regional and global expansion. With cutting-edge automation and digitalization features, the yard has a production capacity of 40,000 tonnes per year, incorporating the latest fabrication processes, according to a recent press release.
The inauguration, attended by Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, took place during the iktva Forum & Exhibition 2025 at the Dhahran Expo from January 13 to 16, 2025.
Spanning 400,000 square meters, the yard is located in the Ras Al Khair Special Economic Zone and will serve both offshore facilities fabrication and onshore modularization. It is a key component of a broader maritime and offshore cluster supporting regional industry.
NMDC Energy has invested AED 200 million in the Ras Al Khair yard, ensuring that it operates with a focus on productivity, safety, and environmental sustainability. The yard is designed to deliver efficiencies while reducing its environmental footprint.
The company has already reinvested SAR 5 billion into the Saudi economy over the past five years, contributing to a positive economic impact in the Kingdom. This new facility further aligns with Saudi Arabia’s economic priorities.
