Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: The National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) organized the entrepreneurial bootcamp for the third edition of the “1K Mile” program, which was attended by Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources. The 3-day event was held at Prince Sultan University, aiming to empower entrepreneurs by enhancing their core skills through training workshops in various fields. It also provides licensing and government procedures in targeted sectors, available enablers as well as services specific to the industry, logistics, and mining sectors.
The bootcamp activities include advisory and mentoring sessions, opportunities to network with experts in the field, and building an effective network within the ecosystem. Participants can also benefit from innovation training, feasibility study improvements, exposure to inspiring experiences and success stories, and interactions with key officials from public and private sectors.
Worth mentioning that, over 8,000 entrepreneurs applied for this edition of the program program’s third with more than 500 meeting the eligibility criteria.
The 1K Mile program seeks to foster entrepreneurship in the industrial, service, logistics, and mining sectors, enabling entrepreneurs to leverage the significant transformation brought about by Vision 2030. It leverages advancements in promising sectors, advanced infrastructure, diverse resources, and improved investment environments. It also aims to take advantage of the Kingdom's strategic geographic location, which facilitates access to local and international markets.
