Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: TrinaTracker, a subsidiary of Trinasolar Co. Ltd, will launch a new manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia, set to begin operations in Q1 2025.
Located in Jeddah’s 3rd Industrial City under a land-lease agreement with MODON, the plant will produce 3GW annually, focusing on the Vanguard series of solar trackers and smart control systems, according to a recent press release.
The facility aligns with Saudi Arabia’s growing solar market, projected to reach $125.2 billion by 2033, and supports Saudi Vision 2030 by boosting local production, job creation, and energy diversification. TrinaTracker’s smart solutions optimize energy generation in harsh climates, increasing energy yield by 8% annually.
Vincent Wu, Trinasolar’s Global Sales VP, and MEA MU Head, emphasized the factory’s role in improving service capabilities, delivery efficiency, and sustainability. The plant will operate with zero pollutant emissions and strengthen TrinaTracker’s regional presence with dedicated technical support and training programs.
The expansion is part of Trinasolar’s broader strategy to enhance renewable energy in the Middle East, including its work on Egypt’s Abydos Battery Energy Storage Project. The initiative underscores TrinaTracker’s commitment to energy security, sustainability, and economic growth in the region.
