Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Ceer, Saudi Arabia’s first electric vehicle (EV) brand, announced signing a strategic partnership with Italy’s Isoclima to develop what is expected to be the world’s largest windshield, enhancing both design and performance for Ceer’s upcoming flagship sedans and SUVs.
According to an official press release, the agreement, formalized at Isoclima’s facility in Italy, marks a significant step in Ceer’s mission to set new standards in EV technology.
The advanced windshield will feature ultra-thin laminated glass with infrared-reflective coating to reduce heat absorption, improve sound insulation, and enhance visibility.
On this occasion, Jim DeLuca, Ceer CEO said: “Ceer is delighted to partner with Isoclima, a recognized leader in advanced transparent technologies. This collaboration reinforces our commitment to seeking out top-tier industry leaders as partners and our dedication to serving our customers with the highest quality engineering, craftsmanship, and materials for Ceer EVs.”
Liviana Forza, Isoclima CEO added: “This agreement with Ceer highlights the importance of cross-industry collaboration to shape the future of technology and mobility. By combining our technological capabilities with Ceer’s bold vision and expertise, we are delivering solutions that elevate safety, aesthetics, and performance.”
Ceer, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, is on track to roll out its first EVs by 2025 as part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 push to establish a homegrown automotive industry.
