Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, announced that it supported 308 high-potential digital startups in the first half of 2025.
According to an official press release, this marks a 39% year-on-year increase from 221 companies during the same period last year.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of the chamber, said the results reflect Dubai’s growing appeal as a hub for entrepreneurs and tech investors. He noted that strengthening infrastructure, enhancing regulation, and building an innovation-driven ecosystem remain top priorities to accelerate the emirate’s digital transformation.
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President, added that the chamber organized 10 local events and 15 international roadshows in H1 2025 to showcase Dubai’s digital ecosystem and promote Expand North Star, the world’s largest startup and investor event. The roadshows included startup pitch competitions, with winners receiving sponsored opportunities to participate in Expand North Star 2025, set for October at Dubai World Trade Centre.
