Riyadh – Sharikat Mubasher: Global payments infrastructure provider Nium announced a new phase of its expansion in Saudi Arabia through a series of partnerships with leading local players, as the company seeks to strengthen cross-border payment infrastructure across the Kingdom and the wider Gulf region.

According to Mohamed Nabil Othman, Director of Business Development at Nium, the partnerships represent a key milestone in the company's Saudi strategy by combining Nium's global payments capabilities with the market expertise and customer relationships of local partners. While the company did not disclose the names of its Saudi collaborators, it said the alliances are designed to unlock more seamless and cost-efficient cross-border payout solutions.

The initiative is expected to support enterprises, fintech companies, and payment platforms by improving the speed and efficiency of international payouts across the GCC and beyond. Nium said the move marks the beginning of a broader effort to enhance regional payment connectivity and enable businesses to access more streamlined cross-border financial services.

The announcement comes as Saudi Arabia continues to accelerate the development of its digital payments ecosystem, supported by a growing fintech sector and ongoing efforts to modernize payment infrastructure in line with the Kingdom's digital transformation agenda.
