Dubai – Sharikat Mubasher: Online travel marketplace Wego is expanding its partnership with payments technology company Juspay to support its growth across additional Middle Eastern markets.

As per a recent press release, the collaboration focuses on making it easier for Wego to integrate local payment providers and payment methods as it expands across the region.

Juspay’s payment orchestration platform connects acquirers, banks, payment service providers and regional payment methods through a single system. This allows Wego to adapt its checkout experience to different markets and local payment preferences.

Wego said the partnership has also helped improve payment authorization rates through intelligent transaction routing, 3D Secure optimization and automated retries for eligible failed transactions.

Alexandre Morin, director of payments, risk & fintech at Wego, said the partnership gives the company greater flexibility to offer locally relevant payment options while maintaining a simple booking experience.

Juspay’s platform connects Wego with more than 300 payment service providers and acquirers globally, reducing the need for separate technical integrations.

The companies plan to continue developing payment solutions as Wego expands across the Middle East and other international markets.
