Riyadh – Exclusive Sharikat Mubasher: Dalal AlRayes, Co-Founder and CEO of Spare, said that Spare is a Saudi fintech company specializing in open banking that provides technology solutions to help businesses attract customers and access their financial data through their bank accounts.
Speaking to Sharikat Mubasher on the sidelines of Money20/20 Middle East 2026 in Riyadh, AlRayes said open banking is a key focus of Spare’s participation in the event, particularly amid the rapid development of the sector in Saudi Arabia.
She noted that Spare is licensed by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and works with banks to digitally connect bank accounts in a safe and secure way, enabling easy access to financial information through digital channels.
AlRayes explained that financing and loan applications previously relied on providing banking data and financial information manually. Open banking technologies now allow this information to be accessed and shared digitally, making the process easier and more seamless.
Money20/20 Middle East, the region's leading fintech event, runs from 14 to 16 September in Riyadh, bringing together over 600 investors, more than 350 brands, over 350 speakers, and more than 150 startups.
Throughout three days, the event will connect global financial leaders with the companies, institutions, and policymakers shaping the next phase of financial services in Saudi Arabia and across the region.
